Area poets, unite! Bring your poetry and your courage to meetings of Poet's Night Out. Once you live through that first critique, your poet's heart will yearn to try it again!

The group meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 7 o'clock in the library conference room.

Meetings feature each poet's reading of his or her work and entertaining the constructive criticism of the others.

A poetry writing assignment for the next meeting follows the critique.

Members are encouraged to bring favorite poems by other writers to share. We welcome discussion about specific poetry forms, good markets for poetry, and news about contests.
